About CRISP

The past is all around us. Ever more people are studying it, from local community groups to commercial archaeological units to university departments, producing a rich body of data relating to our cultural heritage.

CRISP believes that efficient data management lies at the heart of any organised project or research community, and that data systems should be shaped by the information that they store and the individuals that use them. To this end, we will only design a system after extensive discussion with you.

CRISP has extensive experience of applying ICT to academic, professional and community archaeological and heritage projects. We bridge the customer/ technology divide and promote the clear, uncluttered sharing of information.

We provide consultation and practical support on the design of data collection, management, storage and presentation systems. We can advise on all aspects of your project - from securing funding to your final presentation. By helping to build a strong foundation for a project we give researchers confidence in the integrity of their data, allowing them more freedom to focus on the interpretation and analysis of their research.

We offer intelligible consultation and, in close collaboration with our clients, develop projects to their own specifications and preferences. Our passion for providing the best possible support for archaeological, historical and heritage projects, and our enthusiasm for the tasks we undertake, are reflected in the quality of our work and our excellent customer service. We have a growing reputation for expertise, patience and an understanding technical approach.
